Becoming a Billionaire
Keep in mind when airplanes fly they are frequently off course. You will not feel on course all the time. Things will f up from time to time.
Research your fields for the most profitable and growing niches. Sell to that market or sell to the entrepreneurs selling to that market.
Don't get complacent. Keep an eye on competitors and the people who come around with questions. People will legitimately compete or try to steal.
Look at new variations of old business models. What entrepreneurs are doing business in a new and better way?
If you want to become a billionaire you need to do the same.
A Few More Tidbits that can Help You Become a Billionaire
First train your body and mind to obey your commands. Keep it simple. Don't curse or abuse yourself in any way. Reward yourself for getting your body and mind to obey.
Read the previous post.
Act, right now, as if you are now in business, your own bank, or whatever works for you. Make a plan. Talk to entrepreneurs. Form a mastermind.
Look at your habits, attitudes, and beliefs. One adjustment in attitude, even a little one, can make a huge difference.
Ie you might decide to tackle a problem other entrepreneurs avoid. Use your brain. Best your competitors.
And finally, kill your tv.

Commit to Becoming a Billionaire in 2011
Second, go to places where there are millionaires and billionaires in the making. Here and there, you will have problems with dunces wasting your time. When this happens, cut your losses and move on. If you have to quit a lot of jobs, you have to quit a lot of jobs. Few jobs will really lead you to millions or billions of dollars. Focus on your side businesses or your side projects. Move if you need to.
Get around people who are going places and people who have similar goals.
Third, learn what you need to learn to do business, invest, create your product, and anything else you need to learn. Stay up 'til 2AM if you have to. If you need to learn HTML, then learn it. If you need to practice IRR calculations or something you learned in a class, do it.
Fourth, practice frugality. This one is unpopular. But I'll tell you what. If you can't get seed money together for a business, even a web based business, you are doomed to fail. If you want a billion dollars and are starting from scratch, you are really swinging for the fences. Swing for the fences with individual stocks. Get a good broker if you need help. Ultimately, you will have to learn to manage your finances. Anyway, you can't buy any growth stocks with no money.
Don't listen to people that tell you to part with all your capital. The guy saying, "Oh, we'll make 100K a month when we do this deal..." is probably full of it. Remember to associate with people who are going places and can do basic math.
Fifth, learn to think creatively. Whether you call it thinking outside the box, or lateral thinking, just do it. Be observant and use the assets you already have. Whatever you do, question. What behind what the guru says? Who pays him? Research and read the fine print. Look at news sources that aren't for sheeple.
That's enough for now. Stick with practicing these ideas for a few days and see if you can handle it. Be a one man, kick butt think tank. Then join forces with others much like you, in a closed master mind group. Your master mind needs to be completely closed to negativity and outside influences.

More Thoughts on Becoming a Billionaire
Learn leadership by being a leader at work, in college, on the campaign trail, etc.
Often times, the leadership you will be taught in school is left leaning. If capitalism is evil, how are you to become a billionaire? Colleges are there to make money, not to make you money.
Learn to lead yourself first.
You have to manage risk and you have to take calculated risks. There is no way around this one. Wealth with work or risk is impossible.
Quit talking to sheeple who compare investments to casinos. There is very little comparison.
Here's an idea: sell investments. If you owned a mutual fund company, you have a good shot at becoming a billionaire. Look at the Forbes 400 and see how many billionaires own investment companies.
The best idea as far as becoming a billionaire goes is: get started. Put the law of accumulation to work for you and get started. Keep moving towards your goal.
Lay an excellent financial foundation by visiting http://www.renegadeuniversity.net/
Fast forward through the school of hard knocks and visit renegade u right now.
Random Thoughts on Becoming a Billionaire
You have to be self motivated.
You have to motivate others.
Having a law degree will help you become a billionaire. With a good salary from a law firm, you can acquire businesses. Storage and coin op laundries are the first two businesses I would look into (speaking for myself). After you have your own firm or are freed from the rat race, you could look into your own original business.
To make billions, look into fields that are going to radically change things. Think of how the Internet changed things. What do you think will change things in the near future? Start investigating.
Like I wrote in my last post, you need a mastermind alliance to provide support and accountability, etc. Some advisers and councilors are a complete waste of time. Find people with experience on the street and get them to help you.
Take a look at www.renegadeuniversity.net and check out our free info and browse the best business and investing books.
Become a Billionaire
You need to be very resolute in your decision to become a billionaire. You will encounter all sorts of roadblocks and resistance. Don't listen to dumb opinions.
One question to ask yourself is who are your customers? A product or service will need customers to be successful. You need to constantly look for customers.
Focus on making money. Focus on the bottom line. Focusing on petty, inconsequential things will not make you a billionaire. Outsource and delegate things that should be done, but are not high value activities.
Learn to sell. You have to be able to get investors. You need customers. You need the cooperation of many people. Being able to sell goes a long way.
Accumulate capital. You will need money to buy back shares, make acquisitions, and survive rough times.
More later,
in the meantime, take a look at www.renegadeuniversity.net at RU, you will get an action plan for making your first million. This site is worth your time.

Billion Dollar Secret
1. Do what you love
In fact the advice to do what you love was the same message given by another billionaire. Warren Buffet also said that the key to success is doing what you love and doing it well.
Doing what you love is the key to having abundance in your life. Look around and see all the big achievers and you will notice this one truth always present in their lives; they are all following their passion. Doing the thing they love doing best. Bill Gates and computers, Oprah Winfrey and her talk show, the Google boys and the internet, Tiger Woods and golf; the evidence is clear everywhere.
Now why do these people who follow their passion excel above others? The answer is in the fact that every person has a gift. Every human being is blessed with some talent. No one knows better than you what you want to do so listen to your heart and be clear about what exactly you want out of life.
The tragedy is that most people do not get to find that one thing that is their special gift or talent. Some do know their areas of expertise but are stunted by the fear that they may not be able to make money out of it; or they get lost in the crowd by following others; doing what their friends are doing or taking their cue from their family or friends. This will never lead you to success.
If all your friends are studying medicine or if your family wants you to be a doctor, that is no good reason for you to go in for medicine. Choose for yourself the career you truly love and be confident that you will be successful in your career. In the words of the best-selling author and philosopher Dr. Wayne Dyer, there is no scarcity of opportunity to make a living out of what you love doing; there is only a scarcity of resolve to make it happen.
Don’t you know that one of the reasons why people get bored at work or have the tendency to shirk is that they are not excited about what they do. If you truly love the kind of job you are doing and that job is suited to your talents boredom and laziness will never bother you because work will then be a source of excitement and bliss for you. Have you ever seen Michael Jordan bored and uninspired on the basketball court. No, never, it is because he does the job he loves doing best.
2. Do not quit
Donald Trump’s second piece of advice on how to make big money is to never give up. How right he is. This one piece of device has been here for millions of years. Persistence is the key to victory and outstanding success. No one ever attains any great height without going through tests. Your faith will surely be tested along the way but if you keep on keeping on, you will end up triumphant.
The problem with most people is that when they try something and get resistance, they give up but such an attitude will not get you anywhere. If you view your trials with a positive attitude, you will come to realize that they are always accompanied with great benefits.
Oscar-wining actress Jennifer Hudson wanted to become a star in showbiz. She auditioned for American Idol; she lost but that loss did not make her to give up in her mind. She went in for an acting role in the movie Dream Girls and won an academy award from that single movie. Truly persistence pays.
Carve out a path for yourself to your dreams. Choose to do what you love and never give up in the face of any obstacles. If you do it as Donald Trump teaches you to do, your dreams will come true.

How Do You Become a Billionaire?
A study of billionaires from over the past 160 years shows that the best way is through ongoing deal-making. Deal-making is defined as the acquisition, improvement, and sale of various assets. These assets are usually private companies in the early stages of a future billionaire's career. Later on as his wealth grows, the assets become bigger public companies.
The best introduction to these larger than life figures and how they wheel & deal is Matthew Josephson's classic The Robber Barons.
If you're interested in how to become a billionaire follow current trends in the market place to spot opportunities. Look for fast growth industries. The current economic meltdown is creating new ways of doing business which future billionaires can exploit. For example, there will most likely be a return to more localized production of many of the goods we import from China. In addition, new business models such as industry aggregation also offer tremendous opportunities.

Become a Billionaire
In 1993, I bought zero coupons right before Clinton's inauguration. I KNEW he would raise taxes. I figured investors would flee to bonds for safety. I figured interest rates would go down. As it turned out, I made over 40% in less than a year. Man did people b*itch about my prediction.
People with a nanny state or a poverty consciousness went berserk on me at the freedom loving Portland State University. If you are easily swayed by what some dunce says, keep your picks quiet.
Anyway, if you can keep making good picks and reinvesting your profits and adding HUGE amounts of cash to your holdings, you could be a billionaire one day. Yes, there is huge risk. Do not go borrow money to invest. If you can't afford to take the risk, don't do it.
Like I say all the time, keep yourself and your mastermind away from negative influences. This is very important.
Where do I get stock picks? Good newsletters, CNBC, financial magazines, message boards. I have watched some stocks since the late 1980's. You can look in the top 10 holding of excellent mutual funds and etfs. You could invest in the companies that sell stuff you really like ( and hopefully everyone else ). Look at the Buy Back Letter. They are pretty good. ( No guarantees tho).
Again, take a look as disruptive tech, and small caps.
Remember, Buffett says all the time: buy when others are fearful! I have bought a few shares in this recession so far. I believe smart investors are doing that too.
Are you overwhelmed ? Get a good broker and stat reading excellent investment books. Take classes too.

Become a Billionaire, con't
Your self concept is extremely important. You need your mastermind to keep you, not only pumped up, but seeing yourself as a billionaire in the making. You need to think about yourself the right way.
Next, you want to ditch your self limiting beliefs. Remember, there are boneheads who make more money than you. Anyway, there is little difference between a person that makes 50k and one who makes 100K. Its all in the self concept. So start changing your self concept and start making plans and taking action, every day.
If you see yourself as a great entrepreneur on the inside, you will likely perform as one on the outside.
Next, do things that raise your self esteem and get your mastermind to do the same thing. You cannot quit doing these things, making a billion dollars will take many years with many ups and downs. What should you do? Achieve a few small goals. Read. Go to a seminar. Write an eBook, etc.
Thinking about and visualizing making a billion dollars will actually improve your self image and self esteem.
Getting things done will increase your self esteem too. Make it a habit to get things done.
Create the mental equivalent in your mind of what you want to experience in waking life. The gurus say this all the time, evidently people don't do it enough. Visualize what you want and then really get to work.
Next, hold your vision and the feelings associated with it in your mind for as long as possible (10 minutes a day will do). And again, work on your goals each day. Use visualization to solve the immediate problems in your life. Knock out one problem at a time.
Develop the habit of setting goals for every day, week, month, and year. Most of these goals should take you closer to the billion dollar mark. Type up all the sub goals that lead up to a billion and work on them all the time. Change, develop, and modify your typed up plan as needed.
Another thing is, you need the self concept to hold on to your money. If you cannot do that, you will not make make a billion dollars. www.independentwealth.us will help you with develop the habit of saving, the mindset of a millionaire, and a prosperity consciousness.
I'll leave you with this: get little better at your work, studying, and money related habits every day!
Become a Billionaire
Save up some money, make some good investments, and the big part, play with the houses money. Playing with the houses money is almost like making infinite returns. If you are investing in good small caps or mid/large caps developing disruptive technologies, it could be real good to let your gains run for many years.
Another completely different idea is to sleep at night with an affirmations tape playing. Think of some good affirmations. Here are some of mine: I make the right things happen. I earn infinite returns. You think BIG. You solve bigger problems. The power to make a billion dollars is in your mind. You turn fear into power. You can think of more good ones. There is a section on custom subliminals, and affirmations at www.independentwealth.us
Another different idea: make a "to-do" list every day and get those things done. After a few weeks of making yourself use to do lists is a great idea. If you are serious, you will see results before long.
An obvious one is to read about billionaires. Forget about reading the anti capitalist newspapers, they will discourage you. Read billionaire's autobiographies, like The Art of the Deal. Maybe you can catch Buffett on CNBC. Read a billionaires blog, like Ross Perot or Mark Cuban.
In researching stocks (and businesses), be like an investigative journalist. Be like Tony Robbins, when he started out. Find out about stuff that works. Find out about massive potential and opportunity. really know the things you are studying. Imagine you are trying to sell your idea to your lawyer, dentist or professor...you can't unless you've got something really good.
Lastly, work hard. Work hard at your job and come home and you will work hard on your business, investments, personal stuff, school, etc. Be the person who does excellent work. Your customers will love you. Watch Donald Trump's A&E Bio. The Donald, while at his academy had to be and look the best. Period.
You can learn the major lessons I have learned about success for free at www.independentwealth.us Why learn the hard way?

Become a Billionaire
I think I'd start with NET, No Extra Time. Work out and listen to audio programs and audio books. Get an idea of how you want to make your money and find some motivation.
Working out makes you feel good, and encourages a longer life. You do not want to be the richest person in the graveyard. Look at Tony Robbins now legendary run on the beach, when he lived in a 400 sq foot apartment. You wont have those results. At least not every day, but do it. NET= no extra time. Begin that habit.
That reminds me, if you are in the medical field, look for longevity aids. A good longevity aid, with a well executed marketing plan, could make a billionaire out of a few of us.
Andrew Carnegie, formerly the richest man in the world, advised us to form mastermind alliances, to enhance our success. You can find people for your masterminds through my Yahoo group and through the chat room at http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3LmluZGVwZW5kZW50d2VhbHRoLnVz You could find them here on Google, Myspace and Facebook too. Be creative, there are a lot of places to recruit and to get recruited.
You can find out about the best audio books, audio programs, mastermind alliances, and a lot of worthwhile stuff at http://www.independentwealth.us/
Hopefully I will keep writing about becoming a billionaire.
