How to Build Momentum - The Law of Accumulation

Here is what to do if you need momentum to reach a bigger goal.

Make a to-do list.  Knock out all the smaller and easier tasks first.

After getting all the smaller tasks done, you should have momentum.

You are now free, hopefully, to tackle the big goal.

Continue the smaller tasks, or have a normal person handle smaller tasks for you.

Now, if you are overwhelmed by your goal, write down a step by step plan for reaching it.  Focus on this plan to reach your big goal by concentrating on each step.  If the step is necessary, do it to the best of your ability.

The Law of Accumulation says achievement is comprised of many smaller tasks and goals that no one sees or appreciates that add up over time.

Occasionally, look at the emotional payoffs you get from reaching your big goal.  If the process can be made to be enjoyable, this could be a plus.

Be sure to take breaks.  Especially if you're really bored or etc,  Just take a break.  You could go for a walk or a drive.  You could watch a little TV.  Or you could see what's hot on youtube.  You could work on your 100 push ups goal.
