Stay Focused - Stay on Course

You take the most flak when you're over the target, as smart people say.

Like I say in the Black Book of the Master Mind, "Be impervious and closed to negative influences."

Be brutally honest with yourself.  Know well credentialed crooks can legally lie.  There is such a thing as a straw man.  Your phony friend might be confronting you through a dupe criminal, or whining behind your back.

I realize its a little scary.

Kill your TV.  Tune out opinion.  Avoid distraction.  Stay focused.  Thought cops are operating in your sacred camp.

"Selfishness" isn't so bad.  Neglect is.

Free Online Education and Instruction

There's a list of free (or nearly free) education sites at this page.

There are other sites listed that don't fall under the same category that wealth seekers will find useful.

Comment below if I missed any.

There are also 3 pages of videos which offer some degree of instruction, but mostly motivation and inspiration.

You can do tougher ones for a while to save for a down payment or a baby emergency fund.
There's a list of ideas at this site that will get you started.  I'll add more soon.

Banish All Forms of Acidity and Plan Your Escpae

Banish all forms of acidity.  Except for a cup or two of coffee.  Banish incessant b*tching, unconstructive criticism, and passive aggressive troll “superiors” laying bait, knifing, rumor mongering and wasting your personal time, money, and energy.  Those headaches aren’t worth it.  Use this site to help with your escape.

You've Heard It a Million Times - Make a Plan

Make a plan for your business, investments, and life.  Remember a plan that didn’t work out may well be better than no plan at all.

Prepare for tough times and you'll only know good times.

Genius is fine and dandy.  Utilize genius all you can. But let's listen and be observant.

Follow the Central Planners

Follow the central planners at the U.N., as well as national, and local planners.  Maybe you can provide business services to the government planners.  Maybe you can determine which investments to choose based on what the ruling elite want. You may want to use caution criticizing central planners and the elites. Be careful kissing their butts. What stops them from burning you?

Boundary Spanning and Information Gathering

Don’t become dependent on any one source of news.  As Kiyosaki’s rich dad said, “Learn a little about a lot.”  Take a look at various academic, trade, news, and government publications (and web sites) yourself from time to time. Once in a while, go to the library and browse the reference section for any data you may be curious about.
Look for agendas.  Follow the money.  See what the opposition says, if there is one.  Check on any trends or forecasts that could affect you.

Check on data available or research yourself information that's "off limits" to students, etc.

Boundary spanning is useful, even if you don't have a business.

Admit problems with sources to yourself.

Are You Working For an Astroturfer For Free?

Remember when news broke about billionaires hiring astroturfers?  Lots of well-funded interests have astroturfers.  It is not always obvious who the astroturfers are, online or offline.  Interests other than politicians and hustlers also troll social media, etc are known to use astroturfers.  Don’t put stock in any type of superior who won’t acknowledge real threats, problems, or runs the show in a way that’s just too convenient for the other side.

Helpful Advice From Buffett

WB detests risk.  WB buys shares of companies that sell necessities at low prices.  Understanding what you are investing in reduces risk.

WB says keep your eyes on the field, not on the scoreboard.  Focus on your game, not on the score.

Then there's the classic: "Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful."
